unsweetened coconut milk

green chillies(roughly chopped)

fresh mint leaves(roughly chopped)
1/2 cup
fresh coriander with stems(roughly chopped)
CHICKEN IN GOAN GREEN CURRY

Make the chicken curry in Goan Style

  1. FOR THE CURRY PASTE Combine all the required ingredients in a blender with ¼ cup water and blend to a smooth paste.Remove into a bowl and keep aside.
  2. FOR THE CURRY Heat oil in a large pan over medium flame and add curry leaves.
  3. WHEN THE CURRY LEAVES CRACKLE Add onion and sauté till pale golden.Add ground curry paste and sauté till pale golden.Add ground curry paste and sauté for a few seconds till very fragrant.
  4. ADD CHICKEN Cook for 2 minutes stirring regularly and stir in the broth.Cover and simmer the curry,stirring at regular intervals,till the chicken is cooked and the curry thickens slightly.
  5. WHEN THE CHICKEN IS COOKED Add chopped,tomatoes,coconut milk,salt and pepper and cook for 1 minute,stirring continuously.
  6. SERVE HOT With steamed rice.
